Nigerian Youths Advised To Develop Passion For Line Of Business

LAGOS – Mr. Melody Fidel, a Nigerian international entrepreneur-missionary, has urged youths in the country to embrace and have passion for their line of business.

Fidel also described entrepreneurship as a lifestyle and not necessarily a job.

Fidel gave the advice during one of the Business and Entrepreneurship Platform Weekly social media youth engagement with over 5,000 followers from all over the world, particularly in Africa.

According to him, having passion for being an entrepreneur, providing essential service and solving critical challenges in the society while offering employment opportunities created visible happiness beyond profit making.

“Entrepreneurship creates unspeakable joy and fulfillment. The moment you love and have passion for what you do, your heart is filled with happiness and contentment knowing that you are contributing your own quota to the growth and development of your community and nation at large. So, the passion and love for what you do is key.

“My fellow youth make the mistake of seeing entrepreneurship as only a job in which one must strive to make ends meet. And that is why when there are few challenges, they abandon it to keep trying elsewhere in order to have a breakthrough. In a sharp contrast, one must be dedicated, committed and completely embrace his/her passion for a particular line of business to create success.”

The Business and Entrepreneurship Platform is one of the tools employed by the Sustenance and Stability Business Summit to regularly mentor and empower youth and potential entrepreneurs across Africa.

Fidel is the founder of Stability and Sustenance Business Summit who in the past decade has coached over 10,000 youths physically and virtually on skills acquisition and monetization, disbursed business grants to over 100 youth.

He recently received Africa Inspiring Impact Maker award in Kigali, Rwanda and in late 2023 got recognized for his youth mentorship with The Future Awards Africa Prize for Service to Young People.
